These Terms of Use (“Terms”) govern your use of the Veil VPN application and services (“Veil”, the “Service”). By downloading or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

1. The Service

Veil provides a Virtual Private Network that encrypts your internet traffic and routes it through servers in various locations. Certain features require an active subscription.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 17 years old and able to form a binding contract to use Veil. You are responsible for maintaining the security of the device on which Veil is installed.

3. Acceptable use

You agree not to use Veil to:

• violate any law or regulation, or infringe the rights of others;
• distribute malware, launch attacks, send spam, or engage in fraud;
• attempt to disrupt, reverse-engineer, or gain unauthorized access to the Service or its infrastructure;
• resell or commercially redistribute the Service without our permission.

We may suspend or terminate access that violates these Terms or that harms the Service or other users.

4. Subscriptions, billing, and cancellation

• Veil offers auto-renewable subscriptions. Prices are shown in the app and charged to your Apple ID.
• Where a free trial is offered, if you do not cancel at least 24 hours before it ends, it automatically converts to a paid subscription.
• Subscriptions renew automatically unless canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Your account is charged for renewal within 24 hours prior to the end of the period.
• You can manage or cancel your subscription in your Apple ID account settings. Deleting the app does not cancel a subscription.
• Payments are handled by Apple and are subject to Apple’s terms. Refunds are handled by Apple in accordance with its policies.

5. No unlawful activity

While Veil protects your privacy, it is not a shield for illegal conduct. You remain solely responsible for your activity while using the Service.

6. Disclaimers

The Service is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that any particular server or speed will be available.

7. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Veil and its operators will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of data, profits, or goodwill, arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid for the Service in the twelve months preceding the claim.

8. Changes to the Service and Terms

We may modify or discontinue features, and we may update these Terms. Continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

Your use of the Service is also governed by our Privacy Policy.
